Sensex falls 668 points on global factors

Investor sentiment was affected by profit taking ahead of the Lok Sabha poll results, rising crude oil prices, and fading chances of a US Federal Reserve rate cut. The Sensex closed down 668 points at 74,503, while Nifty closed at 22,705 points, down 183 points.
