Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of US President-elect Donald Trump, announced on Saturday she won't run for Marco Rubio's soon-to-be-vacant Florida Senate seat. She thanked supporters and hinted at a 'big' future announcement in January. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will appoint Rubio's replacement, with a decision expected early next year in January.
