The Election Commission on Wednesday said that repolling will take place in election booths in West Bengal where it is “verified” that the Electronic Voting Machines had been tampered with, ANI reported.
The statement by the state’s chief electoral officer came after the Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that a tape had been used to cover the button that is to be used for vote for the Hindutva party, in several polling booths in Falta Assembly constituency.

Malviya claimed that booth number 189 had also been “compromised in a similar manner along with several others”.
