Ron Howard, director of Hillbilly Elegy, said when he met JD Vance for the movie based on his bestseller, they did not speak about politics but still JD came across as a moderate thinker but now Howard is surprised and disappointed by JD Vance's statements surfacing from the past. Howard said JD Vance is a changed person now.
