Poland summons Hungary ambassador over asylum for ex-minister
Poland recalled its ambassador from Hungary and summoned the Hungarian ambassador after Hungary granted asylum to a former Polish deputy minister, Marcin Romanowski. Romanowski faces corruption charges in Poland, including organized crime involvement and attempted embezzlement. Poland considers Hungary's action a "hostile act." Romanowski disappeared after his parliamentary immunity was revoked.
