November 1-7 watch list: ‘Haq’, ‘Baramulla’, ‘Frankenstein’, ‘Maharani’ season 4

November 7 is one of the busiest Fridays in recent weeks, with a bunch of films and shows competing for attention. All release dates of new releases are subject to change.

In other news: Yash Raj Films has migrated much of its catalogue to Netflix. The list includes several Shah Rukh Khan starrers, such as Chak De! India, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Darr, Dil To Pahal Hai and Fan. A Shah Rukh revival is also on in cinemas, bringing back some of his most-loved films, including Dil Se, Kabhi Kaan Kabhi Naa and Main Hoon Na.

Among the recent releases that have landed on streaming platforms are Bad Girl (November 4, JioHotstar), Kiss (November 7, ZEE5) and The Fantastic 4: First Steps (November 4, JioHotstar). Also out are Kantara: Chapter 1 (on Prime Video) and Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (JioHotstar).

Nanda Kishore’s fantasy action film stars Mohanlal in a dual role. The synopsis: “A diamond magnate faces a reckoning when his son’s journey to their ancestral village awakens memories of a violent past that refuse to stay buried.”

The cast includes Neha Saxena, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Ajay and Ali.
