Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze says president must vacate office
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced that President Salome Zourabichvili must step down at the end of her term, despite her refusal citing an illegitimate parliament. The political crisis deepens as the Georgian Dream party halts EU accession talks for four years. Kobakhidze also downplayed the US suspension of its strategic partnership with Georgia, considering it temporary.
