AR Rahman Has This Advice For Anirudh Ravichander: "He Is Doing Very Good Music, But..."

The multiple Grammy Award winner, AR Rahman is one of the most celebrated music composers in India.

He has contributed to the entertainment industry with some of the most evergreen tracks, across languages.

He recently shared a word of advice for Anirudh Ravichander, a budding music artist.

It took place at the audio launch event for Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen's upcoming film, Kadhalikka Neramillai.

AR Rahman said, "Anirudh is doing very good music. My small request to you is to have a classical version of the song so that the longevity is much greater. Because when you do, it will reach the younger generation."

As a senior, Rahman was deeply appreciative of the incredible work that Anirudh has been doing. He applauded Anirudh for collaborating with some renowned names in the industry too.

Anirudh Ravichander has worked with some of the biggest A-listers in the industry.

Namely, Kamal Haasan in Vikram and Indian 2. He collaborated with Dhanush in Ethir Neechal (2013) and Thiruchitrambalam (2022). He was the music composer of Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster 2023 film Jawan.

Chaleya from Jawan was a roaring success for its upbeat tunes, and he was praised highly by Shah Rukh Khan.

During the film's release, Anirudh had shared a video of him playing Chaleya on piano.

Shah Rukh Khan had reshared the video on his X feed, and written, "I have to dance on this while you sing it beta. And if I get the step wrong you instantly change the rhythm so I look good! U can do magic like that I know....love u."

As for the maestro, AR Rahman, his next composition is for the upcoming Tamil film Kadhalikka Neramillai. The film will be released in theatres on January 14, 2025.
