Pandya Store star Alice Kaushik was evicted from Bigg Boss 18 in December.
During her time on the show, the actress' bond with co-contestants Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra made a lot of noise.
But it seems things took an ugly turn after Alice Kaushik's exit. It all started after Eisha Singh's mother claimed that Alice didn't answer her calls.
Now, Alice Kaushik has opened up about the incident.
She told India Forums, “I wasn't aware of the call since it came from an unknown number, and I get so many calls from unknown numbers. As for the message, it must have slipped through the cracks. I have a significant backlog of unread messages.”
Alice Kaushik clarified that she had no intention of ignoring Eisha Singh's mother and even expressed her gratitude for her humble behaviour.
The actress revealed that she reached out to Eisha Singh's mother after she got to know about the message.
“I immediately checked and found her loving message when I heard about it. I replied right away," she clarified.
Earlier, Eisha Singh's mother expressed that she hoped Alice Kaushik would contact her first after exiting the show.
In a video shared by a fan page on Instagram, she said, “I felt bad that she didn't revert. I thought the first thing she would do once she was evicted, is message me, but she didn't.”
She added, “I thought I would give her the love that she has been away from, like a mother, but maybe she didn't revert back as she thought I would tell her to support you or something."
Coming to Bigg Boss 18, currently, the remaining contestants on the show are Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Karan Veer Mehra, Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Chum Darang, Shrutika Arjun, and Chahatt Pandey.
