Full-scale demolition of the former Libbey Glass plant in Shreveport is now underway and progressing. Environmental contaminants have been cleared over the 54-acre site, allowing for redevelopment opportunities. Demolition teams are set to dismantle the industrial silos that have dominated the skyline for decades. Local authorities expect increased truck traffic around Jewella Avenue until mid-2027 due to construction activities. What's Your Reaction?
