Over 200 killed in three-day Sudan paramilitary assault: Lawyers
Sudanese paramilitaries from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have killed over 200 people in a three-day assault on villages in White Nile state, including women and children. The attack involved executions, kidnappings, and looting, with some victims drowning while trying to flee across the Nile. The RSF’s actions, described as "genocide," have left hundreds wounded or missing. The violence is part of ongoing conflict in Sudan, which has displaced millions and created one of the worst humanitarian crises. Both the RSF and Sudanese army face war crime accusations.
