Jasprit Bumrah is back to where he belongs. After a five-wicket haul for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Bumrah has been a crucial factor in the team's turnaround in the IPL 2024 after three straight losses. It is not just the IPL, Bumrah's form will be crucial for the Indian cricket team too. Right after the IPL 2024, the Indian cricket team will play the T20 World Cup. After narrowly missing out on the title at the ODI World Cup 2023, the Indian cricket team is once preparing to launch a goof fight for its first ICC title in 13 years.

If India are to do well at the T20 World Cup, Jasprit Bumrah has to play a big part in the bowling unit. Recently, Bumrah had a special chat on Jio Cinema with his wife and renowned sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan.

"I have never asked you this, what have these 10-11 years been like (living in Mumbai)?" Sanjana Ganesan asked Jasprit Bumrah.

"It's been very good, Came here as a 19 year old. That year didn't even expect to play Ranji Trophy. Yes, I was in the set up. But then John Wright saw me and brought me. Over the years, I have grown here. I have had an interesting journey. Won five titles. I have been part of all those winning squads. It's been a  great journey so far," Bumrah replied.

In the same chat, Sanjana asked Bumrah about his earlier plans top move to Canada.

"You wanted to go to Canada and set up a new life there?" Sanjana, the fast bowler's wife, asked Bumrah.

"We have had these conversations before. Every boy wants to make it big and play cricket. Every street has 25 players who want to play for India. You have to have a backup plan. Our relative lives there. I though I will finish my education and...my uncle lives there. First we though we would go as a family, then my mum did not want to go there as it's a different culture. I am very happy and very lucky that things worked out, Otherwise I don't know I would have tried to play for the Canadian team and do something there as well. Glad it worked out here. I am playing for the Indian team and Mumbai Indians," Bumrah told on Jio Cinema.
