A successful day for India in Paris with Nishad Kumar winning a silver in men’s high jump T47 and Preethi Pal taking home a second bronze medal from the Games, this time in women’s 200m T35.

The day started off on a rather sedate note for India with multiple losses in badminton, but it has ended on a good note. There were certainly misses – the biggest being Rakesh Kumar’s loss in men’s compound archery open bronze medal match.
