DC plane crash: Trump says military helicopter was flying too high; 'That's not really too complicated'
President Donald Trump attributed a mid-air collision to a military helicopter flying at an incorrect elevation. “The Blackhawk helicopter was flying too high, by a lot. It was far above the 200 foot limit. That’s not really too complicated to understand, is it???” Trump posted on Truth Social. The New York Times reported that the military Black Hawk helicopter deviated from its approved flight path, surpassing the 200-foot altitude limit and causing the crash with an American Airlines plane.
