Pakistani military aircraft bombarded Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province on December 26th, killing at least 46 people, most of which were children and women.
The Afghan Taliban had said that it would retaliate.
Foreign ministry in a press statement has said that it "unequivocally" condemns any attack on innocent civilians. It also added that, "It is an old practice of Pakistan to blame its neighbours for its own internal failures".
