The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved railway multitracking projects in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, costing Rs 3,399 crore. Scheduled for completion in 2029-30, the Ratlam-Nagda and Wardha-Balharshah lines will add 176 km to the network.
