The government is planning to establish multi-disciplinary partnership (MDP) firms to rival global consulting and auditing giants like PwC and Deloitte. An Inter-ministerial Group has been formed to develop this ecosystem, aiming to strengthen Indian firms and reduce reliance on multinational corporations.
