Vladyslav Yesypenko, a Ukrainian journalist with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, is now free. He spent over four years in Russian custody in Crimea. Russian authorities arrested him in 2021 on espionage charges. Yesypenko and his supporters maintained his innocence. He alleged torture during his detention.
