Last month, Akshay Kumar shared an exciting update about Bhoot Bangla. The actor unveiled the first-look poster of the movie on Instagram.
It featured Akshay Kumar sitting on top of a pillar, near the gate of a bungalow. Dressed in a white shirt and dhoti, the actor perfectly sets the eerie yet humorous tone of the film.
The caption read, “Beyond excited to be on set with my favourite Priyadarshan as we begin the shoot of our horror comedy Bhooth Bangla today. Yeh darr aur hasi ka double dose aapke liye ready hoga 2nd April, 2026 ko! Tab tak ke liye aapke best wishes chahiye [This double dose of fear and laughter will be ready for you on 2nd April, 2026! Until then, your best wishes are needed.]”
Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla will be jointly produced by Akshay Kumar and Ektaa Kapoor's production houses.
It is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2026.
