Syria's new govt says to suspend constitution, parliament for three months
Following the ousting of President Bashar al-Assad, Syria's new government spokesman announced a three-month transition period. A judicial committee will review and amend the constitution. The rebel-appointed transitional prime minister will oversee the transfer of power, prioritizing the preservation of institutions and promising to uphold the rule of law.
