Dhadakpur has abandoned any pretence of being crime-free. There was that theft of a motorcycle in the first season from 2025, which drove Bhugol (Sparsh Shrivastava) and his buddy Amavas (Bhuvan Arora) around the bend. In season two of the Prime Video series Dupahiya, Dhadakpur is the stage for more serious offences.
An examination scam led by coaching centre owner Pratham (Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua) embroils Bhugol’s striving sister Roshni (Shivani Raghuvanshi). Roshni is desperate to finally pass her SSC and put her preening ex-fiance (Avinash Dwivedi) in his place. Amavas, who is still nursing a flame for Roshni, vows to help her.

The rest of Dhadakpur is worried that a mobile tower is a source of evil, killing sparrows and robbing men of their manhood. The villagers bring sarpanch leader Pushplata (Renuka Shahane) over to their side.
Dupahiya season 2 is set in a fictitious village in Bihar that is meant to represent the heart of the North Indian heartland. The latest edition beats hard and fast this time round too.
