Pushpa 2: The Rule has surpassed the ₹950-crore milestone at the box office. On day 13, the film, headlined by Allu Arjun, minted ₹24.25 crore in the domestic market, according to a Sacnilk report. This includes ₹4.35 crore from Telugu screenings, ₹18.5 crore from Hindi shows, ₹1.1 crore from Tamil screenings and ₹15 lakh each from the Kannada and Malayalam markets. On its second Tuesday, the film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 21.78%. To date, the action-drama has earned an impressive ₹953.3 crore. Pushpa 2: The Rule serves as the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise.
On Tuesday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the day 12 box office figures for the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule on Instagram. He wrote, “‘PUSHPA 2' RACES TOWARDS ₹ 600 CR CLUB... After a historic second weekend, #Pushpa2 shows no signs of slowing down... Collects fantastic numbers even on its second Monday - a regular working day - demonstrating its extraordinary hold at the #BO. #Pushpa2 [Week 2] Fri 27.50 cr, Sat 46.50 cr, Sun 54 cr, Mon 20.50 cr. Total: ₹ 582 cr.”
A few days ago, Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on the box office success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Speaking at the success meet in Delhi, the actor remarked, “The numbers are temporary but the love I hold very close to my heart. I always say that records are made to be broken, maybe for the next 2-3 months I will enjoy all these records but hopefully, by the summer I would want all these records to be broken by the next film.”
In Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna return to their iconic roles as Pushpa Raj and Srivalli. The film also features Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
