Pakistan's Karachi University deems high court judge's degree invalid after 40 years
The University of Karachi annulled the law degree of Islamabad high court Judge Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, citing enrolment discrepancies from 1991. This decision came after the alleged detention of a syndicate member opposing the cancellation. The university discovered conflicting enrolment numbers, rendering the degree invalid.
