‘Negligence of railway…’: Why Indian Railways has been asked to pay Rs 4.7 lakh to a passenger for bag theft

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ordered Indian Railways to compensate a passenger for stolen belongings. The theft occurred on the Amarkantak Express in May 2017.
