India's first bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is progressing well. Initial operations will commence using Indian high-speed trains in 2027. Japan's next-generation E10 Shinkansen trains will be introduced later, after 2030. The first operational stretch will connect Surat and Bilimora in Gujarat.
