The Kalinga Literary Festival has announced the winners for its 2026 Book Awards in five categories – Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Translation, and Debut. The awards will be presented at Ek Bharat, Anek Bol Festival, presented by KLF, on December 18 at Travancore House, New Delhi.
Here are the winners in each category:
Nonfiction: Searches: Selfhood in the Digital Age, Vauhini Vara and Scamlands: Inside the Asian Empire of Fraud That Preys on the World, Snigdha Poonam
Fiction: Great Eastern Hotel, Ruchir Joshi
Poetry: Folie à Deux, Jennifer Robertson
Translation: Mudritha, Jissa Jose, translated from Malayalam by Jayasree Kalathil
Debut: The World With Its Mouth Open, Zahid Rafiq
