Friday marked yet another successful day for India with two medals. Earlier today, long jumper Praveen Kumar secured India's sixth gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics in the men's T64 event. He set a new Asian record marking his best attempt of the competition and clinching the gold.

Hokato Hotozhe Sema won bronze in the men's shot put F57 final to take India's overall medal tally to 267. After falling short in the 100m event, Simran has another shot at the medal on Saturday as she is through to the final of the women’s 200m T12 event.

As we approach the end of the Paralympic Games, India will hope to add a few more medals on Sunday.
