Shooting, Mixed 25m Pistol SH1 Qualification Rapid: Nihal Singh and Amir Ahmad Bhat fail to make it to the top 8. At the end of the rapid stage, Singh's total of 569 is the same as the shooters in eight and ninth place, but he has fewer inner tens, keeping him in 10th place. Bhat finishes 11th with a score of 568.

Badminton, men's singles SL3: Nitesh Kumar is a Paralympic champion. He was leading 19-16, before Bethell fought back to equalise at 19-19. The British shuttler then saved a match point, before earning one of his own.

World No 1 Kumar keeps his calm to save the match point, wins two more points to secure the gold medal. He has beaten Bethell for the first time in his career, on the tenth time of the asking. WHAT A DAY TO DO IT!
