New Zealand's Parliament was briefly suspended after a haka erupted in the public gallery following the maiden speech of Maori Party MP Oriini Kaipara. The unapproved performance, joined by some MPs, led Speaker Gerry Brownlee to call for order and later suspend the session. An investigation will determine if any MPs were aware of the planned haka.
