Gurugram: After woman biker shares video of car ramming into her, police file rash driving case

The Gurugram Police on Monday registered a first information report after a woman biker shared a video on social media showing a car ramming into her, throwing her off the two-wheeler and speeding away.

The collision was captured on an action camera mounted on her bike.

The police have registered a suo moto case on charges of rash driving, The Print reported.

The woman, who runs the Instagram page “rebelwheels_sia_”, posted a video of the incident and alleged that persons in a white car had been chasing her for some distance.

She said that they repeatedly came close to her two-wheeler while she was riding with members of her biking group.

The biker alleged that despite signalling to the driver to maintain a safe distance, the vehicle continued pursuing her before hitting her.

The woman also said that she would file a complaint with the police.
