CSIR UGC NET December 2025 registration deadline deferred; here’s apply link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the registration deadline for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET (December) Examination 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam at csirnet.nta.nic.in till October 27, 2025. The last date to pay the fee is October 28, 2025. The correction window will open from October 30 to November 1, 2025.

The exam will be conducted on December 18 in two shifts: 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and other details available in the notification below:

Application Fee

Applicants from general categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 1150, whereas Rs 600 applies to General-EWS/OBC(NCL)*, and Rs 325 applies to SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third Gender.
