Bharat Biotech has in-licensed GSK's Shigella vaccine candidate, altSonflex1-2-3, aimed at combating Shigellosis in young children in low- and middle-income countries. Following promising early-stage trials by GSK, Bharat Biotech will advance the vaccine through Phase-III trials, regulatory processes, and large-scale production.
