A painting by Joseph Kleitsch that cost $100 in 1939 later gained a valuation of $500,000. The artwork depicts early Laguna Beach and showcases Kleitsch's significant contributions to California Impressionism. Following its appearance on Antiques Roadshow, the painting sold for an undisclosed amount exceeding the television valuation. It subsequently featured in exhibitions at the Irvine Museum and Laguna Art Museum in later years.
