Anti-vaxxer gets 5-year jail for ‘encouraging terrorism’
Patrick Ruane, a 55-year-old British man, was sentenced to five years in prison for encouraging terrorism through social media posts. Ruane used the Telegram messaging app to incite violence against scientists, politicians, and public health officials involved in the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, even suggesting specific individuals as targets.
