Abdelmadjid Tebboune secured a second term as Algeria's president with 84.3 percent of the vote, according to final results announced by the Constitutional Court. The election had a turnout of 46.1 percent among over 24 million registered voters. Rival candidates challenged the results, alleging irregularities and fraud in the vote count.
