Shooting, Olympics 2024: ‘Historic achievement’ – Reactions to Manu Bhaker’s bronze medal in Paris

Praise and words of joy poured in after Manu Bhaker opened India’s account at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event on Sunday.

Bhaker became the first Indian female shooter to win an Olympic medal and also secured the country’s first medal in the sport since London 2012.
