October 24-31 watchlist: ‘Baahubali: The Epic’, ‘Bugonia’, ‘Dies Irae’ and ‘Kurukshetra: Part 2’

The post-Diwali releases include premieres of new films by Yorgos Lanthimos, Kathryn Bigelow and Edward Berger, a recut Baahubali, a host of Halloween-linked horror thriller such as Dies Irae and Good Boy, and the series D/o Prasad Rao: Kanabadutaledu and Baai Tujhyapayi.

Josh Boone (The Fault in Their Stars) directs an adaptation of bestselling author Colleen Hoover’s 2019 novel Regretting You. The movie revolves around the stormy relationship between Morgan and her 16-year-old daughter, their experience with grief, and their attempts to forge a new beginning. The cast includes Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood and Willa Fitzgerald.

The story is about how the US government tackles a nuclear missile launched by an unidentified enemy.
