Powerlifting, men's upto 49kg: Paramjeet Kumar finishes ninth out of tenth. Jordan’s Omar Qarada takes the gold with a 181kg lift, Turkey’s Abdullah Kayapinar takes silver with 180kg and Vietnam’s Cong Van Le takes bronze with 171kg.

Athletics, women's shotput F46 final: Amisha Rawat did manage to put up her best effort, with a personal best throw of 9.25m, but unfortunately that was not good enough compared to her opponents. She finishes 14th out of 15 athletes in her event.
