A historic day for India in Paris. The Indian contingent bagged a total of eight medals, includling two gold medals with Nitesh Kumar (men’s singles SL3 badminton) and Sumit Antil (men’s javelin throw F64) finishing on the top most spot of the podium.
Besides the Kumar and Antil, Yogesh Kathuniya, Thulasimathi Murugesan, and Suhas Yathiraj won a silver medal apiece, whereas Rakesh Kumar-Sheetal Devi, Manisha Ramadass, and Nithya Sre Sivan pocketed a bronze medal for themselves.
India’s medal tally has grown to 15 medals with three gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals.
