Putin's 'peace' cat to Japan dies

Mir, the Siberian cat gifted to Japan's Akita Governor by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2012, has passed away at age 12. The feline, named "peace" in Russian, was given in return for an Akita dog presented to Putin after the 2011 Fukushima disaster.
