US to put up $2.1 bn for Sanofi, GSK coronavirus vaccine

Pharma giants Sanofi and GSK will receive up to $2.1 billion from the US government for the development of a COVID-19 vaccine, the companies said Friday, as the world reels from the coronavirus epidemic.
