Crispy Bhindi is a popular starter that is served at Indian weddings and parties. It is one of the yummiest forms of bhindi. This yummy starter can also be prepared at home with simple steps and few ingredients. All you need to make this is bhindi (ladyfinger), besan, cornflour, amchur powder (mango powder) & red chilly powder.
To make crispy bhindi, slit the bhindi or ladyfinger in two halves. Remove the head and tail. Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients like besan, cornflour, amchur powder, red chilly powder and salt to taste. Coat the bhindi pieces with the mix. Once all the pieces are coated well, keep them aside for about 15-20mins. Make sure that the bhindi pieces aren't wet else they will not crisp well. After 20mins, heat the oil in a pan so as to fry the bhindi. And there, the crispy fried bhindis are ready to be served to the guests.
