Major terror attack foiled, over 30 terrorists arrested in Punjab province of Pakistan

Law enforcement agencies in Punjab province of Pakistan have arrested 33 terrorists from various banned groups including Al-Qaeda and foiled a significant terror plot. The Counter Terrorism Department conducted 475 intelligence-based operations across different districts, interrogating suspects and recovering weapons and explosives. Cases have been registered against the detained individuals.
