Iran reduces sentence of jailed journalists after clearing them of collaborating with US

An Iranian court cleared Niloofar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi of collaborating with the US, reducing their prison sentences to five years. They were originally jailed for reporting on the death of Mahsa Amini, which led to major protests in Iran in 2022 and 2023.
