Tamannaah's Sunday was a fun-filled one and her latest Instagram entry can vouch for that. The aaj ki raat actor shared a bunch of photos with her girl gang on Instagram feed. In the pictures, they can be seen having a blast. Tamannaah was joined by Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani, Kajal Aggarwal, Diana Penty, Pragya Kapoor and Nishka Lulla Mehra. The friends can be seen laughing their heart out, dancing and living their best lives. Taking a cue from her sensational hit number Aaj Ki Raat (Stree 2), Tamannaah captioned the images, "When aaj ki raat was a Sunday." Take a look:

In an earlier interview with Grazia India, Tamannaah talked about her anxiety if she could pull of another hit after performing with Rajinikanth in the song Kaavaalaa. "On the heels of Kaavaalaa's success, doing the song for Stree 2 felt very risky. I thought, 'Will I be able to top what I've already done?'" "But when Amar (Kaushik) met me and said, 'I have this song for you, and it's actually very crucial to the storyline,' I just instinctively knew I had to do it," Tamannaah added.

Aaj Ki Raat has been sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Divya Kumar. The upbeat number features lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya with a composition by Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya.

Tamannaah was last seen in Vedaa, which released on the same day as Stree 2. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, it had John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in lead roles.
