China man to get Rs 40.78 lakh compensation after being fired for being 'caught sleeping at work'
A Chinese court has ordered a chemical company to compensate a former employee with 350,000 yuan (approximately Rs 40.78 lakh) for unfairly dismissing him for sleeping at work. The employee, Mr. Zhang, had a 20-year record of good performance and had been working late the previous night.
