New day, new update from Bigg Boss 18. The makers of the reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, dropped a promo video on Instagram showcasing a challenging task given to the contestants. The person who wins the task gets to be the new “Time God”. The voice in the background says, “Sabhi gharwale freeze. Aaj ghar pe hone jaa raha hai ghar ka agla Time God banne ka karya. Aaj living area mei Bagga Tea Corner naam ki dukan khadi ki gayi hai. aur aaj yeh chor chai lutenge. Jis chor ke paas sabse zyada chai hogi, woh bann jayega iss ghar ka agla Time God. (Housemates, freeze. Today decides who will be the next Time God. A shop named Bagga Tea Corner has been established in the living area and today the thieves will steal tea from there. The thief who has the most tea will become the next Time God.)”
The clip shows the contestants collecting tea into the bag while others try to stop them. Rajat Dalal and Shilpa Shirodkar attempt to collect as many tea packets as they can. In one segment, Rajat climbs atop a tall structure so that no other contestants can pose a hindrance. He gets into an argument with the others who claim that Bigg Boss has asked the participants not to go to a corner during the task. Rajat defends himself stating that he is not in a corner but in an open space.
As the video progresses things turn aggressive between Avinash Mishra and Digvijay Rathee. Both were seen using crude language and mocking each other. Soon, the sarcastic exchange of words turns physical with Digvijay pushing Avinash. Avinash imitated the violent gesture, leading to a physical altercation. At one point Avinash pushes Digvijay so hard that he falls down, leading to a commotion. All the house members rush towards Digvijay to see whether he is alright.
This year the theme of Bigg Boss 18 is Time Ka Tandav. The TV reality show premieres on Colors TV daily and is available for streaming on JioCinema.
